(PALMYRA)—A northeast Missouri bank is getting a name change.

Palmyra State Bank will become HOMEBANK.  Bank officials say that over the last several years the bank has experienced tremendous growth and now serves over 29 counties in the tri-state area.  Bank Executive Management and the Board of Directors were compelled to change the name to bring more cohesion with the identity and marketing of the bank’s services.

Bank President Jerry Trower says the change will have little or no effect on how customers transact business and there is no change of ownership… executive management or personnel.
