Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies and Missouri State Troopers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance Tuesday morning at a residence on County Road 272 in Palmyra.

An investigation led to the arrest of 57 year old Daniel Slavin of Palmyra for possession of a controlled substance. A search of Slavin’s vehicle uncovered about 60 grams of ICE methamphetamine.

Slavin was taken to the Marion County Jail on a 24 hour hold pending the filing of charges by the Marion County Prosecutor. Slavin is also being held on a probation parole warrant.
