One Person Dead Following Maiden Lane Fire

(QUINCY)—One person is dead following a house fire Wednesday night in Quincy. Firefighters were called to 422 Maiden Lane shortly after 10 p-m.  Flames were coming from windows on the east side of the two story brick house as firefighters arrived. Investigators will be on scene looking for the cause today. Adams County Coroner Jim Keller says 52 year old Daniel Dietrich died in the fire. The fire department says Dietrich was the only person in the home. EMS crews on scene attempted to resuscitate Dietrich at the scene but were unsuccessful.
