No students were injured after a loaded Hannibal school bus collides with an SUV Friday afternoon.

Hannibal Police report the crash happened at 3:11 p.m. at the intersection of Palmyra Road and Pulliam Ave. Police say the collision occurred as the SUV attempted to pull onto Palmyra Road from the Hannibal Middle School parking lot. Officers say the SUV driver pulled in the path of the oncoming  school bus which was eastbound on Palmyra Road. The bus struck the front end of the SUV.

A passenger in the SUV suffered undisclosed injuries and was taken to Hannibal Regional by ambulance.

The driver of the SUV was issued a citation for failure to yield involving an accident. The names of those involved were not released in the initial HPD report.
