One in Custody Following Quincy Standoff

One individual is in custody following a Sunday night standoff in the 800 block of Spring in Quincy. Police were called at 7:45 pm with a report of an unstable person. A perimeter was established and traffic in the immediate area was blocked off. Officers say an individual was taken into custody without incident at 12:40 Monday morning. Adams County Sheriff’s deputies, Adams County Ambulance crews and the American Red Cross assisted at the scene. Police say no arrests have been made.
