One Arrest Follows Crash at 5th and Chestnut in Quincy

A Quincy man faces several charges following an incident late Saturday night.

Quincy Police were called to 5th and College at 11 p-m for a disturbance that followed a block party. Police say one male sustained injury and was taken to Blessing Hospital for treatment. Additional officers were called to 5th and Chestnut for a multiple vehicle crash. Police reports indicate that a minivan driven by 29 year old Quinton Ewing of Quincy was northbound on 5th with the lights off when he ran a stop sign and collided with a car driven by 21 year old Angel Dean of Quincy. Ewing’s vehicle continued on and damaged two cars… a pickup and a jon boat.

Ewing was treated and released at Blessing Hospital. Ewing is held in the Adams County Jail on numerous charges.
