First round and semifinal games are in the books at the 47th annual Highland Tournament.
One tournament record has already fallen and another could be matched or broken Saturday night. The Palmyra Lady Panthers 90 point outburst against Canton Wednesday night set a new single game record. The 2002 Lady Panthers held the previous record of 87.

Palmyra has a chance at the girls team scoring record for the tournament after putting up 90 against Canton and 79 against Kirksville in the first round. The Lady Panthers need 62 points to surpass the record set in 2014 by Palmyra. That won't be easy. The Highland Lady Cougars have the top seed. They come into tomorrow night's game at 10-0.
