A traffic stop last week near Bowling Green leads to the arrest of an Illinois man on narcotics charges.
According to the Pike County Sheriff’s Office, 54-year-old Mark Gustafson of Antioch, Illinois was pulled over for speeding of U.S. 54 west of Bowling Green on March 10.

The deputy noted a strong odor of marijuana. Gustafson admitted to having marijuana. A search of the car revealed nearly six pounds of pot in the car.

Gustafson is charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.
