On Wednesday, June 25, 2014, the Northeast Missouri Narcotics Task Force conducted a search warrant at the residence of Eddy and Cynthia Casey located at 313 North Main, LaGrange, Missouri. The Task Force was assisted by the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office and the LaGrange Police Department.

During the search warrant, methamphetamine, items used for the manufacture of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were seized. Eddy and Cynthia Casey were arrested at the scene along with Joshua Hedges. All three individuals were placed on 24 hour investigative holds and were transported to the Lewis County Jail.

On Thursday, June, 26, 2014, the Lewis County Prosecuting Attorney’s office charged Eddy and Cynthia Casey with a Class B Felony of Manufacturing a Controlled Substance and a Class C Felony of Possession of a Controlled Substance. Hedges was released on a summons for Unlawful Use of Drug Paraphernalia. Warrants were issued by the Lewis County Associate Circuit Judge Fred L. Westhoff. Bond was set at $100,000.00 cash only for Eddy Casey, and $50,000.00 cash only for Cynthia Casey. This investigation continues and more arrests may be pending.

All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
