The Missouri Highway Patrol released the traffic numbers from the Labor Day weekend Tuesday.

In a press release from Troop B Headquarters in Macon, the Highway Patrol reports that northeast Missouri troopers investigated 19 traffic crashes over the holiday weekend, resulting in 10 injuries and no fatalities.

Of those ten injuries, four came as the result of an all-terrain vehicle crash on a public highway in Lewis County.

Troopers also made ten DWI arrests over the weekend.

There were no boating crashes in northeast Missouri over the holiday weekend.

Statewide, there were eight fatalities on Missouri highways, down from 20 traffic deaths a year ago.

The Labor Day reporting period ran from 6 p.m. Friday through midnight Monday.
