Quincy city council members Monday pass a no confidence vote for Director of Administrative Services Skip Bright.
The vote is non binding and Mayor Kyle Moore has the final decision. Bright says he and the mayor will consider his future as a city employee. Bright was lead negotiator in a contract proposed to privatize management of Quincy Regional Airport. Actions during that process led to the no confidence vote. Bright has been in his position since 2017.

Quincy Alderman Monday night approve the hiring of a new manager for Quincy Regional Airport. Aldermen voted 9-5 to appoint Sandra Shore. She receives a one year contract. Shore previously managed the airport at Lebanon Missouri.
