No charges will be filed following a May 28th fatal shooting in Adams County near Quincy. After a review of an investigation by Illinois State Police, Adams County State's Attorney Gary Farha says the shooting was justified by the circumstances and no criminal prosecution will occur following the shooting death of 19 year old Logan Graham.  Farha says witness statements and physical evidence show the homeowner made a reasonable, rational and appropriate choice to use deadly force. He was confronted by an individual who illegally and violently entered the residence. Graham had previously led law enforcement on a high speed chase and returned to the residence he broke a large window and entered the house. Farha says the homeowner pointed a firearm at Graham and repeatedly asked him to stop. The report indicates Graham then charged the homeowner who then discharged the firearm causing the death of the suspect.
