A night vision device was used to track down a suspect accused of leading authorities on a chase over the weekend. 17-year-old Nick Cohea of Bowling Green will be arraigned Wednesday on a felony charge of resisting arrest.

Authorities say the incident happened late Saturday night on rural roads south of Curryville. The sheriff’s department reports that the driver of an all-terrain vehicle led deputies on a chase with speeds up of to 65 miles per hour down county roads and across fields.

One deputy said in a probable cause statement that he used a night vision device and the threat of turning loose a canine to flush the suspect from the woods.
