Newcomb Hotel Demolition Continues

Demolition continues today on the Hotel Newcomb building at Fourth and Maine in Quincy. Work crews made some progress on Sunday... but the north and east walls were still standing at the end of the day. Investigators are looking for a cause for the fire. They are taking note of any burn patterns uncovered in the demolition and relying on witness interviews. The alarm was turned in at 8:41 Friday night by a passing motorist.
