(HANNIBAL)—Mark Twain Elementary School is ready for classes to begin. Ribbon cutting ceremonies Tuesday night marked completion of construction on the new building. School Board President Dr. David Jackson says cooperation between the city of Hannibal and district residents helped make the new building possible:

352 students will attend classes as school opens for the ’12-’13 school year.
