New London Sex Offender Charged

NEW LONDON, Mo. -- A New London man has been charged with failing to register as a sex offender following a pursuit by U.S. Marshals.
The Ralls County Sheriff's Office reports that 54 year old Martin Thomas Wiskur was arrested April 4 near Excelsior Springs, Mo., on a warrant issued last summer.
Wiskur reportedly failed to provide authorities with a correct residence address in April 2011.
The U.S. Marshals' office in St. Louis, which has partnered with the Ralls County Sheriff's Office to tighten local sex offender oversight, assigned a deputy marshal to the case April 3. Wiskur was arrested just a day later.
