(QUINCY)—A six month search for a new Great River Economic Development Foundation President is over.

Marcel Wagner is the choice. His hiring was unanimously approved by the GREDF Board of Directors March 5th. Wagner has spent the last 21 years with the Allen Economic Development Group in Lima Ohio. Wagner was the president and CEO before retiring in January. Wagner replaces Jim Mentesti who announced his retirement in August after 27 years with GREDF.

Interim President Phil Conover continues in that role until the end of the month.
