New Charges for a Pike County, MO Sex Offender

New charges faced by a registered Pike County sex offender have been upgraded.

27-year-old Patrick Joseph Nohren of Annada had been charged with two felony counts of attempted enticement of a child. On Wednesday, two felony charges of attempted statutory rape were added.

The defendant allegedly admitted he tried to lure two girls into his car for sex in Louisiana on July 25. The girls notified police and were not hurt.

Records show Nohren pleaded guilty in 2005 to felony child molestation involving a six-year-old girl in Winfield. He is listed on the Missouri Sex Offender Registry.

A hearing on the latest charges is set for October 9.

All persons charged with a crime are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law.
