The Northeast Missouri Narcotics Task Force arrested a Marion County man on multiple drug charges following the execution of a search warrant just outside of Palmyra.

Authorities say Steven E. Riney was taken into custody April 24 after methamphetamine lab items, meth and marijuana paraphernalia were found at his residence. Police also say Riney was found to be in possession of meth and meth paraphernalia, and items used to manufacture methamphetamine and additional paraphernalia were discovered in his vehicle.

The Marion County Prosecutor's Office charged Riney with Attempt to Manufacture a Controlled Substance and Possession of a Controlled Substance on April 25. His bond is set at $100,000 cash only.
