Last Saturday’s record setting dog washing event in Hannibal results in a big payday for the Northeast Missouri Humane Society.

The national Bathe to Save tour stopped in Nipper Park Saturday to raise money for the humane society. On Wednesday, the humane society got a check for over $2,800 from the dog wash.

A total of 82 dogs were washed Saturday, which was a record for the Bathe to Save tour.

The tour will be at Shottenkirk Toyota in Quincy this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
