(UNDATED)-- Time and money are running out for the summer energy assistance program. North East Community Action Corporation expects to have allocated all of  more than 250 thousand dollars in funding for the program by the end of this week or early next week.

The not-for-profit agency this year got only about half of the funding it received last summer. NECAC is urging clients who have received a shut-off notice to apply as soon as they can at one of the agencies 12 county service centers.
