A Quincy man charged in the robbery of a Quincy business has been found unfit to stand trial.

In Adams County Circuit Court Monday, Judge Scott Larson ruled that 31 year old Timothy Murray was unfit to stand trial for the robbery of Illinois Title Loan on December 1st.

The ruling follows a mental evaluation requested by Murray’s attorney. The Adams County State’s Attorney’s office agreed with the ruling.

As a result of the ruling, Murray will be placed in the custody of the Illinois Department of Human Services for evaluation.

A review of the case has been scheduled for January 13th.
