Motorized Wheelchair Hit by Pickup Truck in Quincy

A collision between a pickup truck and a motorized wheelchair slows traffic in northwest Quincy late Wednesday afternoon.

Quincy Police say the woman in the wheelchair was attempting to cross Locust near  6^th Street when she was struck by the pickup. The woman was thrown from the wheelchair and was reported alert and responsive at the scene. She was taken to Blessing Hospital for treatment.

The collision remains under investigation.
