Motorcyclist Injured in Collision With A Deer

(BARRY)—A collision involving a motorcycle and a deer on I-72 near mile marker 19 at 12:27 Thursday sends an eastern Missouri motorcyclist to the hospital. 

Illinois State Police say 43-year-old Timothy Underwood was westbound when a deer ran into his path. Underwood hit the deer and was thrown from the motorcycle.

Underwood was taken to Barnes Hospital in St. Louis for treatment by Air Evac helicopter.
