Motorcycle Crash Injures Two from Palmyra

Two people suffer injuries when their motorcycle overturns at 3 p.m. Sunday, two miles east of Monroe City.

The Missouri Highway Patrol reports 57-year-old Patrick Farrell of Palmyra lost control of his Harley after turning from Route J onto Highway 36. The bike overturned, throwing Farrell and his passenger, 47-year-old Eileen Farrell, from the bike.

Patrick Farrell sustained serious injuries. Eileen Farrell suffered minor injuries. Both were taken to Hannibal Regional Hospital by ambulance.
