Marion County Prosecuting Attorney David Clayton is asking Hannibal Police to continue the investigation into graffiti complaints.

Clayton is looking for further information to allow him to file state property damage charges. Clayton says that as soon as he is provided with additional information legally required to charge the defendant, he will proceed with filing charges. Police arrested 32 year old Cory Cyr on property damage charges Monday. Police reports indicate the victims include the City of Hannibal Street and Parks Departments, MODOT, Hannibal Board of Public Works and several private properties.
