MODOT Winter Weather Drill Today

Missouri Department of Transportation crews are conducting a statewide winter weather drill today.

The annual drill tests MODOT’s winter battle plan and helps ensure readiness to get travelers back on the road as soon as possible following winter storms. MODOT will react to a simulated forecast of significant snow. Emergency operation centers will activate and trucks will be deployed to the roads.

You can expect to see increased numbers of MODOT vehicles on the road today as part of the exercise through mid afternoon.
