(JEFFERSON CITY)--Missouri’s state budget director reports November tax collections were up six percent from the same month last year.

General revenue collections approached 619 million dollars in the month. Budget Director Linda Luebbering says the improving economy is having a positive impact on Missouri’s revenues. Luebbering says it will still be a few months before she knows what impact this year’s holiday sales have had on the state’s bank accounts.

The November figures did not include Black Friday.
