KHMO's Bill Shuler visits with Don Clever of the Missouri Department of Conservation about the 2012 deer season.

Deer harvest totals are down in northeast Missouri:

Everything (statewide) went pretty well. Numbers, total, were up, but numbers in the northeast were actually down, as far as harvest, this year.

Numbers were up in the south because of the poor acorn crop, which actually made the deer move more...for up here in the north, we're not sure exactly why.
