Mississippi River on the Way Down in Our Area – Flooding Expected South of St. Louis

ST. LOUIS (AP) — The Mississippi River is on the way down at some Missouri towns. The National Weather Service reports the river was at crest in Missouri cities such as Clarksville and Louisiana. The river is still rising south of St. Louis, and Cape Girardeau is among the communities expected to see major flooding.
