Mississippi Rising

Expect rising river levels on the Mississippi this week.

National Weather Service Hydrologic forecasts call for the Mississippi to rise from today’s 16.4 foot river stage at Hannibal to 19.3 feet by next Saturday.

At Quincy, a rise from 16.7 to 19.3 feet is expected. The Mississippi at Canton is expected to rise from today’s 14.19 foot reading to 17.4 by Saturday.
