Missing Man on the Mississippi

A Louisiana, Missouri man is reported missing after falling into the Mississippi River near the Clarksville Dam. Authorities on the Illinois side of the river began the search Friday evening.

The accident happened when two people fell into the river, and a third person jumped in to rescue them.  Two of the three individuals made it out of the water, but a man believed to be 20 years of age remains missing.

Authorities are resuming the search today.
