Missing Juvenile Investigation Yields a Meth Arrest
(QUINCY)—A missing juvenile investigation leads to an arrest on methamphetamine charges by Quincy Police at 10:45 Tuesday night. Police were searching for a blue pickup truck suspected of being involved in the missing juvenile investigation when they located a truck at 6th and Chestnut. Police say the driver pulled into an alley between Chestnut and Cherry. Police say the man fled when they attempted to stop and question him about the missing juvenile. An officer used a taser on 24 year old Henry Speirs of Quincy. As he was taken into custody… officers recovered meth… meth precursors… marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He’s also charged with driving while revoked and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Police say the missing juvenile investigation was resolved with Speirs cooperation and he faces no charges related to that incident. Speirs was taken to the Adams County jail.
