The Quincy man alleged to have robbed the McDonald’s at 1301 Broadway Monday made his first court appearance Friday.

A public defender was appointed to represent 29 year old Joseph Miller.
Miller is charged with robbery and aggravated robbery.

Miller is alleged to have entered the McDonald’s, demanding money from an employee and implying he had a weapon. When the employee didn’t hand him the money, Miller allegedly grabbed an undisclosed amount of cash and ran.

An investigation led to Miller’s arrest Wednesday night.

Miller faces a preliminary hearing October 10th. He is in the Adams County Jail on $100,000 bond.
