Probable cause was found Tuesday for a rural Bowling Green man to stand trial in connection with the shooting death of his stepson.

In Pike County Circuit Court, Judge David Ash ruled that 61 year old Michael Allan Black be held over on charges of first degree murder and armed criminal action in the death of 31 year old Alexander Koch.

Black is alleged to have shot Koch on August 18th of 2017 after an altercation at a rural Bowling Green residence where both men lived.

Arraignment for Black is set for June 11th.

Black is free on bond.
