Commercial Vehicles in northeast Missouri got some extra attention from the Missouri Highway Patrol.

Missouri Highway Patrol troopers say a commercial vehicle enforcement operation in Marion County in late September and early October resulted in 23 arrests and citations on various charges. Troopers report 11 citations issued for commercial vehicles exceeding the speed limit and five citations for commercial motor vehicle violations. There was also one felony drug arrest and one misdemeanor drug arrest.

A total of 16 commercial motor vehicle inspections conducted and one vehicle was placed out of service.
