A Mexico, Missouri man is charged in connection with a shooting incident in Hannibal Wednesday night.

According to Marion County Prosecuting Attorney David Clayton, 28 year old Tion Dorsey of Mexico was charged Thursday with first degree assault and armed criminal action.

Hannibal Police responded to a report of shots fired in the 2600 block of St. Mary’s Avenue at 8:47 p.m. Wednesday.

An investigation revealed that shots had been fired at a residence from a vehicle occupied by several subjects.

The vehicle was located a short time later and four subjects were taken into custody.

One subject suffered a gunshot wound to the arm and was treated at the scene.

Dorsey is lodged in the Marion County Jail.
