Meth Arrest in Hannibal

A Hannibal man faces drug charges following his arrest early Friday morning.
Hannibal Police were called to Hayden Park Lane on a suspicious person report. Officers contacted the male who was wearing ripped jeans and a motorcycle helmet. 35 year old Ryan Thompson of Hannibal was taken into custody for detoxification. Police say a search of Thompson revealed a large amount of what is believed to be methamphetamine and other controlled substances. Thompson was placed on a 24 hour hold at the Marion County Jail for manufacture of a controlled substance… possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.
