(QUINCY)—A Quincy woman faces child endangerment and four methamphetamine related charges following her arrest late Wednesday afternoon by agents of the West Central Illinois Task Force.

44-year-old Melissa Beldon is in the Adams County Jail after Task Force agents and the Illinois State Police Meth Response team used a search warrant around 5 p.m. at 623 Oak in Quincy.

Authorities say a four year old child was in the residence as agents arrived. The Department of Children and Family Services is also investigating.
