Memorial Day Observances to be Held in Hannibal

Two events in Hannibal will honor our military and those who sacrificed for their country.

Grand View Funeral Home, Highway 61 south of Hannibal hosts its Field of Honor Ceremony Monday  at 8:30 a.m.  The tribute to veterans includes a word from Sergeant Richard Malone and special music by the Uptown Strings.  The Local VFW and American Legion Posts will lend their assistance as Scout Troops raise over 100 flags to honor veterans.

The annual Memorial Day Ceremony at American Legion Post 55 in Hannibal is scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. on May 26. American Legion Post 55 is located at 3819 Highway MM in Hannibal.
