Over a hundred people from across the political spectrum put questions to Missouri Senator Claire McCaskill during today’s (THU) town hall meeting at the Hannibal Nutrition Center. McCaskill was asked about potential social service cuts. "The Hannibal Nutrition Center delivers over 400 meals to people who can't get out of their homes and by the way, that keeps them out of long term care facilities. And guess who pays for long term care facilites? Medicaid." McCaskill said.

The Senator also faced questions on regulatory overreach, a recent military strike in Syria, repeal and replacement of Obamacare and on her vote against confirmation of Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch. To avoid accusations of stacking the deck on questions, McCaskill selected Marion County Republican Committee Chairman Larry Craig to draw the written questions from a basket.
