One of the most popular attractions that America's Hometown has to offer is back open for business.

The Mark Twain Riverboat is back open at its "high water location" at 552 Bridge St., as of Monday, July 14, with sightseeing cruises at 11 a.m., 1:30 and 4 p.m. and a dinner cruise at 6:30 p.m.

According to Capt. Steve Terry, the riverboat had to shut down when the rising Mississippi flooded the parking lot at the Bridge St. location. The river level continues to fall, and Terry hopes the boat will be back at its Center Street dock within the next week to ten days.
