The Mark Twain Museum's annual Trivia Night, originally scheduled for October 5, has been rescheduled. The fundraiser for the Becky Thatcher House will now take place on Friday, March 28 at the Hannibal Nutrition Center.

The upcoming event will be the third Trivia Night that the museum has hosted, and the previous events have been very enjoyable, according to Mark Twain Boyhood Home and Museum Executive Director Henry Sweets, “They are a lot of fun. We try to pose questions that everyone can answer, and then some that very few will be able to answer.”

Proceeds from the trivia night will go toward the fabrication and installation of permanent exhibits at the Becky Thatcher House, which was recently renovated and reopened to the public in June. The House is filled with temporary exhibits until funds can be raised for the permanent exhibits.

Each team will consist of up to 10 players and the cost is $100 per team. There will be a silent auction, 50/50 raffle and bake sale. Mulligans will be available for purchase. There will be ten rounds with 10 questions each. Only one category will feature Mark Twain and will focus on his 1872 book "Roughing It."

Doors will open at 6 p.m. and the contest will begin at 7 p.m.

To reserve a table, donate a silent auction item or sponsor a round of trivia, call Melissa Cummins at 573-221-9010, ext. 404.
