The Mark Twain Boyhood Home and Museum gets a boost in its latest fundraising campaign.

Museum officials announced Thursday that they are already about three-quarters of the way to their $600,000 fund raising goal.

The campaign got a big boost from an anonymous $100,000 donation received recently.

The money raised will go to finish up the renovations at Grant’s Drug Store and to update the exhibits in the boyhood home.

Work on Grant’s Drug Store is expected to be completed by next summer.
The last time exhibits were upgraded at the boyhood home was 2005.
