The 39th annual Autumn Historic Folklife Festival descends upon downtown Hannibal Saturday and Sunday, October 17 and 18, and the Mark Twain Boyhood Home and Museum will be right in the middle of the action.

The museum hosts a new event on Saturday. They're calling it the "Fall Concert on the Hill," a fundraiser for the very popular summertime "Music Under the Stars" concert series.

The Concert on the Hill features local favorite Seth Wade, along with well-known folk artist Chicago Farmer. The music starts at 5 p.m. on Hill Street between the boyhood home and the Becky Thatcher House.

The scholarship fund associated with the Tom and Becky Program also hosts a fundraiser during the Folklife Festival. There will be a booth at Hill and Main all weekend, where raffle tickets will be sold for a quilt, donated by the Hickory Stick.
