Marion County Commissioners pass a 12.3 million dollar operating budget for the coming year. Presiding Commissioner Lyndon Bode says the budget will allow for more proactive spending than in recent years. Replacements for dump trucks and heavy equipment are planned. Also coming are several projects around the county including work on Marion County Road 240 and repaving of the parking lot just west of the Hannibal Courthouse.
