Man Gets 23 Years for Stabbing in Cheetos Dispute
A 51-year-old St. Louis man has been sentenced to 23 years in prison for fatally stabbing a homeless man in a dispute over a bag of Cheetos.
David Lynn Scott pleaded guilty last month to second-degree murder. KSDK-TV reports that he was sentenced Thursday.
The crime happened in September 2012. Authorities say the victim, 42-year-old Roger Wilkes, and Scott argued over the bag of snacks at a light rail station near the St. Louis convention center.
