Macon 49 Highland 3

The Highland Cougars scored first Friday night at Macon, but the lead turned out to be short lived. The Cougars' Laine Sly kicked a 29 yard field goal with 7:01 left in the first quarter. About three minutes later, Macon took the lead at 7-3 and never looked back. The Tigers ran their record to 3-2 with a 49-3 win over Highland. The Cougars remain winless in five games. Highland returns home to face Mark Twain next Friday.
