Lovelace Sues Quincy and Adams County

Former Adams County Assistant State’s Attorney Curtis Lovelace is suing the City of Quincy,  Adams County and some members of the Quincy Police Department. The eleven count suit was filed in US District Court in Springfield on behalf of Lovelace,  his wife and children. The suit claims Lovelace was deprived of his "of his constitutional right to a fair trial by withholding and suppressing exculpatory and impeachment evidence and by fabricating evidence against him. The suit seeks unspecified damages.
