(Hannibal)-- The sights and sounds of special interest vehicles fill the streets of downtown Hannibal  today, during the 18th annual Loafers Car Show.

Stephen Van Houten is chairman of the event.  He says the good weather may attract record attendance, with over 270 entries expected.  VanHouten says the entries come from all over the tri-states, from Northern Iowa to Southern Missouri.

Trophies and plaques are awarded in a number of classes.

Proceeds from the event go for charitable causes; the main one being  Leaps of Love.

The event wrapped up at 3:30 Saturday afternoon in the area around Central Park.
